21 Life Lessons

03 Dec

Jimmy Moore, a friend who has struggled with weight for most of his life is winning the battle of the bulge by maintaining a 180 pound weight loss for 5 years! He shared his weight loss experiences in his first book, “LIVIN’ LA VIDA LOW-CARB: My Journey From Flabby Fat to Sensationally Skinny in One Year”. Now his new book, “21 Life Lessons From Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb: How The Healthy Low-Carb Lifestyle Changed Everything I Thought I Knew” is the “health” sequel to his first book. Check it out, http://www.amazon.com/Life-Lessons-Livin-Vida-Low-Carb/dp/1439262225/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1259853165&sr=8-1.

Jimmy’s life change began by reading a book. My hopes are that reading his books provide you with support and help you need to learn how to make smart decisions about your weight and health. Jimmy writes from the perspective of a person who made a decision to change his life. He is not a celebrity or a health care professional and does not try to take the role of a “know it all”. The books describe his struggles with weight and health and how he was able to beat the odds. Most people can identify with similar issues but might just need a little boost to help deal with them. If he can do it you can too!

Jimmy takes you on his personal journey and shares experiences, feelings, inspirations and the barriers he faced along the way. As a nutritionist who helps people stay in touch with their own motivation and encourages clients to make better decisions about food and health. I find Jimmy’s books to be both inspiring and educational.

Jimmy takes an impressive approach to finding what worked best for him. Anyone who is trying to lose weight or improve health should find what works best for them. Jimmy’s books can help everyone. They are good references for those who want to follow a healthy low carb plan. Even if you cannot or will not use a low carb nutrition plan, I suggest you use his techniques on your journey of discovering what nutrition plan works best for you!

I’ve read the book and it’s a good one! Once you finish, you feel like you’re good friends with him.
